Welcome

After dealing with a decade of chronic illness, I felt it was time to take action — to give back in a way that made a difference. I have been blessed to meet truly incredible people: from those in the medical field who saved my life to the strangers that have become my friends and pillars of support throughout the years.

My gratitude for the help from my local community led to a desire to give back on a global level. I decided to focus on children, as the affect this disease is having on children worldwide is devastating; my way of giving back is through “Orphans with AIDS”.

Every December, on World AIDS Day, I have an “Orphans with AIDS” toy drive. Friends help during the drive, and we collect an array of toys and school supplies which are then shipped to orphanages around the world. This annual toy drive becomes more and more successful as the years go on and would not be possible without the support of many, many people; from those that help at event to the folks in the community who provide the wonderful toys. I know this would not be such a success without all of their help and support.
